We’re the Shillabeers, and we’re passionate about haircare. We’ve built up years of experience and knowledge of the haircare industry, and how to support salon owners to achieve more.
Our love of haircare didn’t start by accident. Instead, it started with falling in love. As a hairdresser & salon owner, I met my future wife Anita when she first stepped into my city centre salon. We were engaged just eight weeks later and ever since then we have been working together, building the perfect recipe for growing independent businesses. With Anita’s wealth of knowledge in distribution, and my experience as a salon owner, educator, and salesperson for a prestigious UK brand, we decided to go it alone and started importing and distributing haircare products in 1992. After countless trade shows, product exhibitions & launches, and with our two daughters joining us on our adventure, we had a flourishing business introducing and distributing multiple sustainable brands in the UK haircare market.
After years of talking to hairdressers and discussing their concerns, hopes, and dreams, we gained an understanding of what really matters. A chance to take control. To take ownership of their salon & their brand. This is why we developed REYU; your brand realised, how you want it, backed by knowledge and expertise.
